Dr. Mellin Teaches at Jefferson High School

Clinic News posted Tuesday November 28, 2006

Dr. Mellin contributed Monday morning to speak as a guest lecturer at Jefferson High School in Bloomington, MN. As a part of Mr. Leverenz’s senior anatomy/physiology class, Dr. Mellin talked with students about neuromusculoskeletal anatomy, spinal health problems, and prevention of degenerative arthritis. High school athletes are especially prone to degenerative joint problems later on in life, and chiropractic care is an important component of joint care.

He also shared two inspiring stories from his practice, one of a man who awoke from a coma after a spinal adjustment, and one of an infant who regained his ability to thrive after gentle care at the hands of Dr. Mellin.

The students were especially encouraged by Dr. Mellin’s assurance that they can acheive what they pursue in academics, in business and in life.

Dr. Mellin and Dr. Simmer both love to teach about health and how to take care of the human frame. Call 952/921-0333 to arrange for one of our doctors to speak to your class, group or organization.
